Why We Exist
Queen Nation was born from real-life pain — and a deep desire to turn that pain into purpose. Our founder, Phyllis Hubbard, knows firsthand what it feels like to grow up without a mother’s guidance, without a stable home, and without someone to say, “I believe in you.” Since the age of 14, she had to figure life out alone. But through faith, resilience, and a heart full of love, she made it her mission to create what she never had: a safe, real, and healing home for young girls who feel forgotten.
Queen Nation is more than just a group home.
We are a movement — a community built to uplift, guide, and transform the lives of teen girls who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or are aging out of the foster care system. We’re here for the girls who feel like no one sees them, hears them, or fights for them. Because we see you. We hear you. And we are fighting for your future.
What We Stand For
At Queen Nation, we don’t do this for a check — we do this from the heart. Every girl that walks through our doors is treated like family. We provide more than shelter — we provide love, structure, support, and healing.
• We help girls heal from trauma.
Through counseling, mentorship, and God-centered guidance, we help each girl face her pain, break generational cycles, and walk toward healing.
• We teach life skills.
From cooking to financial literacy, self-care, emotional regulation, and job readiness, our girls are prepared to step into adulthood confidently.
• We build confidence.
Every queen is reminded of her worth. We speak life into our girls — daily. We teach them to love themselves, believe in themselves, and own their story.
• We give them a future.
Whether it’s college, entrepreneurship, trades, or their first job — we walk with them as they figure out what success looks like for them.

Our Founder
Phyllis Hubbard is not just a founder — she’s a survivor, a warrior, and a walking testimony of what God can do with a willing heart. After spending most of her life in survival mode, she realized her story wasn’t just about her — it was about the girls coming after her. The ones who need a home, a role model, and a reminder that their life is not over. She built Queen Nation from the ground up, alongside a powerful team of women who share her heart for young girls and believe in the mission 100%.
